My recent reads and recommendations!
- Manhattan Sugar by V. Theia
- Twenty-something woman meets forty-something man. He wants to take care of her, and she needs to be taken care of, for once. Seriously, India’s life has gone to hell in a handbasket, and she needs Gray to help pick up the pieces. Gray is an alpha hero, no doubt, but he’s NOT an alphahole. He’s calm, cool, and collected, even in the face of India’s irrational freakouts. He’s also a dirty talker, which I love. This book has a lot of steamy sex and just as much sweetness.
- Stand alone
- No cheating/triangle

- Green series by Jessica Gadziala
- Book 1- Into the Green
- Book 2- Escape from the Green
- Interconnected stand alones (best read in order) starting with a young woman, Cece who gets mixed up in the fae world, not realizing that she may not be quite the human she thinks she is. The second book features Amy, a kind soul raised by cruel parents, who finally plans to make her escape- taking the fae she just might be in love with, with her. This series has strong women (classic Gadziala), adventure, suspense, and sexy times. I don’t know how it’s not as popular as her other series, but I’m officially obsessed.

- Forbidden Miles by Claire Kingsley
- Book 2 in the Miles Family series.
- Brother’s best friend
- Brynn had a crush on her brother Cooper’s best friend, Chase, when she was younger, but she was never on Chase’s radar. Now, in college, Brynn moves home to help her mom out with the family business and Chase finally takes notice. Almost insta-love for these two, but the conflicts and obstacles come in the form of Brynn’s family’s shock and displeasure at their relationship- especially once they announce they’re getting married.

- Reckless Miles by Claire Kingsley
- Book 3 in the Miles Family series
- Cooper is the goofy, manwhore of the Miles family. He’s got no intention of being in a committed relationship of any kind, let alone settling down like his siblings…until he meets Amelia. Amelia, who has just been left at the altar, is used to having everything controlled by her parents. But, being jilted and expected to be the one to smooth things over, is the last straw. She takes off, in her wedding dress, for the local tavern and meets Cooper. Silly banter, steamy kisses, and heartfelt moments ensue. My favorite book in the series, so far, but I’m anxiously awaiting Leo’s book!

- What the Heart Learns by Jessica Gadziala
- Book 6 in the Stars Landing series brings us a curmudgeonly hero and a short-tempered heroine. Opposites attract under false pretenses, but the result is sweet and heartwarming. Bonus: both main characters are total book nerds! Definitely tied for my favorite book in the series so far (along with book 1.)
